*Entrance to the fair is free to all, but at busy times there may be to wait for entry into the exhibition hall. To avoid this, Optional Queue Jump Tickets can be purchased from £2 below. The queue jump ticket does not permit you to go into the museum (this must be purchased separately - see below).
The Grand Winter Makers Fair returns to The British Engineerium in Hove this November, bringing together over 120 independent makers, artists, designers and food producers for one of our biggest festive shopping events of the year.
If you’re looking for a Christmas market in Hove with unique gifts, handmade products, local food and a truly special setting, this is the one to add to your festive calendar.
You will have the chance to meet and shop from a diverse range of creative small businesses, all set within the historic industrial grounds. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind products while supporting local makers.

120+ brilliant makers, artists and local food & drink producers will be joining us across the weekend. Here’s a little preview of who you’ll find…
FOOD & DRINK
Our food and drink options have been thoughtfully curated to offer a fantastic festive selection that caters to everyone.
Tuck into hearty hot dishes like seasonal burgers from Beaufort & Barley, indulgent raclette sandwiches and crepes from Bon Vivant or a loaded baguette from Smothered.
Seashore Bakes will be serving up a delicious array of artisan treats - think cookies, cakes, tarts, sausage rolls and more plus find Smug cookies on Sunday for the ultimate sweet treat.
For drinks, head to Orange Beach Bars for a cheeky tipple (or two!), or grab a fresh coffee brewed with locally roasted beans whilst soaking up the festive atmosphere.
There will also be plenty of local food & drink producers - make sure you check out the Mezzanine level for the foodie spots.

The British Engineerium will be offering guided tours of the Museum IN STEAM on Saturday 21st November.
Get up close to the impressive engines, chat with knowledgeable enthusiasts, and experience the sights and sounds of a bygone era. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of steam power!

where to find the FAIR + TRAVEL INFO
The Engineerium is situated to the North East side of Hove Park, next to Waitrose Hove/Corals Greyhound Stadium just off Nevill Road (once in the vicinity you’ll easily spot its towering chimney!)
By car
No on-site parking; nearby street parking around Hove Park and surrounding roads.
By bus
5B is closest; routes 5, 21 and 47 also stop nearby. Plan your journey.
By bike
Beryl Bike hubs are available near Waitrose and Hove Park.
On foot
Access via The Droveway or through Hove Park.
Accessibility AND general information
Access to the mezzanine level is restricted. Unfortunately, due to the building's design, step-free access is not available to this level. The mezzanine can be reached via the staircase inside. If you need assistance, please speak to event crew.
Disabled toilets/baby change are located on ground floor.
Last entry each day is 4:45pm
Sorry dogs are not permitted anywhere on site.
