We return to Shoreham on Sat 6th December for the 9th year! Our annual Christmas Makers Fair at the Shoreham Centre will be filled with talented makers, artists and crafters showcasing their wares - all exhibitors have been handpicked for their quality and uniqueness.

Stop buying generic gifts from Amazon this year and find meaningful and thoughtful gifts whilst supporting local makers & small businesses instead.

What to expect:

  • 60+ exhibitors inside the main hall, carefully curated to give visitors a variety of traders which changes every year

  • Seashore Bakes pop-up cafe with homemade cakes, bakes, savouries, hot drinks & cold drinks - including some festive specials

  • Live music - The Shoreham Ukelele’s will be on hand to greet you in the morning and a very special lunch Tim performance from The Messengers Choir

  • Children’s craft zone & activities - little ones can drop in and partake in a craft activity run by our elves (no need to book). There will also be face painting and a visit from everybody’s favourite snowman

  • Festive workshops - Learn how to make your own fused glass Christmas decoration or a festive wreath - more details below

Learn the art of fused glass with Bernie from Bernies Glass Creations.

Bernie will be on hand to guide you through the whole process. Firstly, she’ll demonstrate what you will be making then it’s up to you to make your own personalised design! She can also provide templates for those who need a little helping hand and provide precept shapes, colourful rods, crushed glass, and glitter.

At the end of the workshop , your glass decorations will be taken away & fired in Bernie’s kiln in Worthing. Your creations can be collected from Worthing or posted out (additional postage cost)

All materials included to make 3 hanging decorations. Suitable for beginners or those with some experience.

Get creative with Bunches of Sussex who are hosting a very special Christmas Wreath Making Workshop!

You will design and make your very own wreath, with the support and guidance from specialist florists.

The class is open to all ages and abilities - everyone is welcome (littles ones will need adult supervision with snippers)

So, bring your friends and family or come solo and make new friends as you bond over some festive crafting!

FOOD & DRINK

Grab a bite to eat and a coffee from the pop-up cafe run by local baker Seashore Bakes. You’ll find an amazing selection of cakes & sweet treats on offer such as the Slutty Brownies or Belgium Chocolate Tiffin plus savouries such as sausage rolls and vegan rolls.

If you’re looking for edible gifts, don’t forget to check out Truffle Witch who will be attending with the most delicious homemade chocolates.

lots for little ones

Stop by at the Childrens craft zone for lots of festive fun. There will be several activities (some are free, others will cost just £1-3). Learn how to make a pom pom, write a letter to Santa, design a Christmas Card or decorate a biscuit!

Santa is sending his elves to keep an eye on all the little ones for him.

FACEPAINTING

We will have very talented Hannah @Polly_Chromatik with us all day to transform faces. She has lots of designs to choose from including some festive favourites.

The Shoreham Centre, 2 Pond Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, BN43 5WU

The Shoreham Centre is a short walk from the High Street where the number 2 and 700 buses stop. 5 minute walk from Shoreham Train Station.

There is a large pay and display car park at rear of building and spaces outside the Shoreham Centre where its free to park for one hour.

Accessibility - Wheelchair and pushchair friendly throughout the main hall and café area. Disabled toilets & baby change available. However, workshops are located on the stage with access via a few stairs.
