10:30am - 12:30pm: Drop in Watercolour workshops with Shelley. Located in the gazebo opposite the main entrance to Makers Fair & next to the coffee trailer.

The sussex distillers festival
The Sussex Distillers are a dram of passionate distillers, brewers and winemakers, uniting to showcase the very best our county has to offer. From small-batch gins and vodkas to award winning rums, beers, wines, and hand-crafted cocktails, you’ll find it all with us at the Spring Makers Fair. Bringing makers and drinkers together to share a love for the craft.

Charlotte & Chris- an acoustic duo from the South Coast. They will be joining us on Saturday 9th May with three sets: 1pm - 1:40pm, 2pm - 2:40pm and 3pm - 3:40pm
The Move-Ons - a four-piece indie-rock band take over the Engineerium on Sunday 10th May with three sets: 1pm - 1:40pm, 2pm - 2:40pm and 3pm - 3:40pm
Sussex Steel Band- Sussex Steel is a vibrant steelpan charity (CIO) dedicated to bringing the joy of steel music to Sussex and beyond performing Sunday 10th May.
guided STEAM UP museum tours
The British Engineerium will be offering guided tours of the Museum IN STEAM throughout the weekend.
Get up close to the impressive engines, chat with knowledgeable enthusiasts, and experience the sights and sounds of a bygone era. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of steam power!
Tickets are required - we recommend booking ahead of your visit as tickets have always sold out in the past.
Watercolour workshop with shelley morrow
Join watercolour artist, Shelley Morrow for drop in watercolour workshops on Saturday 9th May between 10:30am - 12:30pm. The workshops are suitable for all abilities - even complete beginners! No booking required, come of the whole session and let your creative juices flow or just part of the session. Pay what you can.

interactive giant bicycle drawing machine
International artist, Nick Sayers offers fun for all ages mixing science & art using his giant Pantograph miniaturising machine and the bicycle spirograph machine. It’s fun, educational & a unique experience for all to enjoy and will be available all weekend.
Automata workshops
If you love automata and want to learn more but have never been able to find a class, then come along to these drop-in sessions with Angela who will show you the basics! From 12:30-3:30pm on Sat 9th May.
